Join AMCHAM Malaysia for a Spotlight Session on "Beyond the Factory Gate: What Real-World Motorcycle Data Is Teaching Us About Workforce Road Safety" with Motorcycle Safety Solutions.
Motorcycle safety is an often-overlooked aspect of workforce safety, particularly for employees who commute by motorcycle or ride as part of their work. Drawing on real-world research and deployments across Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, the session will examine what everyday riding data can reveal about rider behavior, exposure, safety-critical events and local traffic conditions.
Participants will then use an organizational self-assessment to consider what their own organizations currently know about motorcycle-related exposure and risk, what controls are in place, and where gaps in visibility or governance may remain.
The session will conclude with technology in practice, including an introduction and demonstration of RideHawkTM and how connected motorcycle technology can support real-time rider protection while generating actionable safety insights. The discussion will also distinguish between employee commuting and occupational riding, highlighting why organizations may require different approaches to each.
Participants will leave with a clearer framework for considering three key questions: Who in our workforce rides? What do we actually know about their motorcycle exposure and risk? And what could we reasonably do with better information?
